Why? It seems that the same fruitcake is still floating around since 1840. I have NEVER once seen anyone actually eat a fruitcake, I have just seen them given as gifts, you know, for office parties, for someone who you "have to" give a gift to but actually don't know them and don't know why you "have to" give them a gift.
It is much like a twinkie, it will last forever and probably has, because like I said, I have NEVER actually seen anyone eat a fruitcake, ever!! Has anyone known someone who likes fruitcake? Is there something wrong with that person? I mean, like do they also eat food that has fallen on the floor and then yell something about the "3 second rule" and gobble up the fallen food? Then I guess I would understand their enjoyment of fruitcake also.
I just don't really get the whole fruitcake thing, not fruit, not cake, not alcohol really, what is the point? Give me a bottle of vodka and a piece of chocolate cake and then we can talk, until then, get rid of this ridiculous fruitcake crap!

Man apologizes to woman while robbing her, cops say
You know things are bad out there when criminals start having a conscience.
That's just what happened last week when a woman pulled up to an ATM outside Harris Bank in Midlothian.
Sitting in her car, she punched in her PIN number. Seconds later, as she reached for the three $20 bills, a man's hand grabbed her wrist.
But as the man grabbed the money from the woman, he apologized, Midlothian police said.
"I'm sorry," said the man who was dressed in dark clothes, police said. "But I've got kids at home, and I really need the money."
As he took the woman's money, a second man went around to the passenger side and tried getting into her car, police said.
The door was locked, and the man walked away.
Meanwhile, the first man demanded the woman's PIN and tried unsuccessfully to withdraw an additional $500.
He withdraw $200 before walking off into the dark, police said.

So.... here is my WHY? Why won't people just go get another job any more? Can you imagine your father doing this, walking up to a woman stealing her money and saying "Sorry, I have kids"? Hell no!! Our father's would have broken their backs and found extra work to make sure we were taken care of. And I am not talking about making sure we had MP3 players and IPhones and Playstations.
I am wondering out loud here, did this guy steal because his kids were hungry or did he steal because he couldn't afford those IPhones and Playstations? Kids nowadays believe they have to have all these things or they will "JUST DIE", omg!
When I was a kid, I didn't know we were not rich. I had a mother and father, sister and brother, every night ALL of us sat down to dinner. At dinner you talked about your day. It never occured to me that everynight we had a different casserole. (mom could stretch a dollar like no one I know). Once a week we had meat and veggies. I thought we were pretty well off. Sunday night's we played Monopoly and my dad ALWAYS won. We really didn't like him, because of this... (well on Sunday nights anyway we didn't like him).
Now kids eat by themselves every night, parents come and go, brothers and sisters are out to all hours of the night doing who knows what. And the only way parents connect with their kids is by buying them STUFF!
What happen to parents being parents? What happen to families being families? What happen to father's getting jobs to buy their kids the things they NEED.... not WANT?
Why is the world going to hell in a hand basket? It really isn't that hard to fix. Spend time with your kids not money on your kids!
There I am done fixing the world, I think I need a drink now! This taking care of everybody's problems is tough work!

We have all (okay, maybe not everyone, but I have) so wanted to do this at some point in our lives when we see our car being towed away by some big dumb monkey who just keeps saying "Lady I am just doing my job!"

Come on, if you are planning on throwing your shoes at the President of the United States, didn't you practice for a couple of weeks? I mean this is big, like pitching in the World Series, if you want us to take you serious you need to practice.
Now, get out in the back yard all you Iraqi kids, you may get another chance sometime and I don't want anybody else messing up like this guy!

A few days ago the Hindustan Times reported that Rajo Devi, a 70 year old Indian woman gave birth to a baby girl, becoming the world’s oldest woman to birth a child. Ms. Devi and her husband, age 72, used in vitro fertilization.
WHY????
When your kid graduates grade school.... if they have grade school like us, I don't even know.... but let's just say... to see your kid turn 13 years old, you will 83 years old, your husband will be 85 years old.
I get tired watching my nieces and nephews who are still 10 and 12, they exhaust me and I am only 50 years old. I need a long nap after the little buggers leave me, usually it is a two day nap!!! What the hell is a 70 year old going to do with 2hr feedings? Hell can they even hear when the baby cries? Can they see the kid or is cataracts taking over?
I don't begrudge anybody anything they want to do if it is legal, I just got to ask WHY, would you want to do this?????
